Tadhamon Aviation Equipment Fund (TAEF)

In 2012, Tadhamon Capital launched its first Sharia-compliant aviation fund in Bahrain. The Fund size is US$13.5 Million and has been structured to acquire a new A330 full flight simulator and lease it to Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) as operating lease for a five-year period. The Fund targets to provide fixed and stable rental income to be distributed on a quarterly basis. GAA offers training programs to World-Class airlines based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, including but not limited to: Qatar Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Oman Air and Kuwait Airways. GAA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mumtalakat, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
