2009
Appointed as property advisor for a 1.6 million sqm mixed-use masterplan in Saudi Arabia.
Advisory for hotel investment and development projects in Mecca and Madinah.
Provided mezzanine finance for the acquisition of a prime commercial asset in London’s financial district.
2010
Launched a Social Infrastructure Investment Platform, targeting education, care homes, social housing, and student accommodation.
Acquired Coxlease School, a specialist institution for autistic students in southeast England.
Advisory on professional staff housing acquisition in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
2011
Initiated first UK purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) investment in Ipswich through a JV with Watkin Jones.
2012
Expanded into social housing with the acquisition of the Landspeed portfolio.
Invested in a second PBSA project via a JV with McLaren Group.
Financed an A330 flight simulator for Gulf Aviation Academy, a subsidiary of Bahrain’s sovereign fund, Mumtalakat.
2013
Entered the care home sector, funding three projects with Maria Mallaband Care Group.
Added a New PBSA asset to the portfolio.
Funded a second JV development with McLaren Group.
Launched a diversified Sukuk investment portfolio across local and hard currencies.
2014
Completed first PBSA and initial care home project.
Launched a diversified global equity investment portfolio.
2015
Delivered second PBSA and remaining care homes with Maria Mallaband.
Realized exits from Coxlease School, Paris Gardens PBSA, and the Gulf Aviation Academy loan.
2016
Successfully exited the Maria Mallaband portfolio.
Established the “Future Generation” PBSA platform.
Acquired first development site under the Future Generation brand.
2017
Expanded Future Generation with two additional acquisitions.
Founded a specialist trade finance company
2018
Acquired two more Future Generation sites.
Commenced development of multiple PBSA assets.
2019
Began development on three new PBSA sites.
Completed construction on two Future Generation assets.
Completed and leased 18 luxury villas in Dubai Land.
2020
Converted Kingston-upon-Thames project into a Build-to-Rent (BTR) scheme.
2021
Delivered three new PBSA developments under the Future Generation platform.
2022
Reached operational stabilization of the Future Generation platform, exceeding 2,000 beds.
2023
Enhanced portfolio efficiency and improved occupancy metrics through targeted operational upgrades.
2024
Rebranded Future Generation to the BrightStar Portfolio and completed a successful refinancing.
